And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy. . . And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen. Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.

Our New Member Care (NMC) ministry provides invaluable service to everyone who visits RWC -- members and visitors alike. This ministry makes contact with each person who visits RWC within three days of that individual church attendance. Our goal is to let every visitor know that their time at RWC did not go unnoticed and that we are open to serving them in whatever way we can. In addition, this ministry (NMC) handles applications for membership, schedules new member fellowships, follows up with missing members and ensures that no one falls through the cracks. This ministry is developed on the biblical premise of:

Acts 2:42, 46 & 48

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and prayers. . . And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness   of heart, praising God,  and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

The evangelism ministry is the outreach arm of RWC. Because of the biblical mandate to reach those who are lost, many of our members are actively and regularly engaged in sharing their faith throughout our immediate and surrounding communities. This ministry also oversees our shelter and prison outreach.

This ministry is developed on the biblical premise of:

Matthew 28:19-20

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

WOMEN OF THE WORD (WOW) ministry serves to minister to the needs of women at RWC.  The focus of WOW is to equip women to better function in their roles as women of God, Wives, Mothers, Sisters, Friends and Professionals. This ministry uses biblical principles in training and developing women to serve each other in the body of Christ, deal with family life and be better prepared to handle the stressors in society.

We purpose to accomplish these things through prayer, in-house and of site seminars, workshops and women's conferences. It is our belief that as women are healed and equipped, they will be more effective in ministering to the women in our immediate and surrounding communities.

This ministry is developed on the biblical premise of:

Acts 16:14-15

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, if ye have judged me faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained them.
